
On April 11, two teachers from Hangzhou Entel’s Sino-US Program attended the official Cambridge 9709 Mathematics Professional Development Course in Beijing, focusing on Assessment Standards (2023–27 syllabus).

The training covered marking criteria, summative and formative assessment, and effective use of past papers. Cambridge emphasized promoting “oracy”, logical reasoning, and targeted feedback. Teachers gained deeper insight into balanced, rigorous evaluation practices. They plan to share strategies on formative assessment and classroom engagement, further enhancing international curriculum quality and student achievement.
