On August 22 and 23, Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School organized a two-day home visit program for over 300 families of incoming Grade 7 and Grade 10 students in Hangzhou. All school leaders, homeroom teachers, and subject teachers participated. During the visits, teachers had warm conversations with students and parents, learning about students’ summer lives, interests, habits, and emotional well-being. They also addressed parents’ questions about the new semester, time management, screen time, and parent-teen communication. By sharing their educational philosophy and class-building ideas, teachers and parents built mutual understanding and trust. This annual initiative helps every student step confidently into the new semester.
