On June 4, Zhao Ye, a researcher at the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and an expert on Liangzhu archaeology, gave a lecture on Liangzhu lacquerware to Grade 7 and 8 students at Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School. Through vivid stories and archaeological images, he introduced the long history of Chinese lacquer art and the craftsmanship of the Liangzhu civilization. Students learned how lacquerware evolved from practical tools to ritual vessels, and explored its colors, patterns, and techniques in interactive discussion.
