Yuhang District High School Chinese Teaching Conference Held at Entel

On September 15, Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School hosted the Yuhang District high school Chinese teaching and research group leaders’ conference, organized by the Yuhang Education Development Research Institute. The event brought together district teaching group members, subject leaders, and key teachers for open class demonstrations, lesson evaluations, and performance analysis. In the first demonstration class, Ms. Sun Jia from Entel guided students to explore argumentative writing through the classical text Jian Zhuke Shu (Petition Against the Expulsion of Guest Officials), helping students transform single pieces of evidence into multi-dimensional arguments and bridging classical reading with practical composition skills. The second class, taught by Ms. Li Huanhuan from Wenchang High School, focused on a targeted review strategy for the sentence-completion section of the Gaokao, introducing a “three-check” evaluation framework to help students develop self-assessment and logical reasoning skills. In the evaluation session, teachers praised both classes for their alignment with the new curriculum standards and exam-oriented teaching. The conference concluded with remarks from Mr. Yang Shiwei of the district teaching research office, who emphasized deepening curriculum standard study, strengthening regional collaboration, and steadily improving the quality of Chinese language education across Yuhang District.
