Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School launched its spring semester on February 13 with an inspiring opening ceremony. Principal Gong Yaodong outlined three educational pillars—aesthetic appreciation, empathy cultivation, and leadership development—urging students to anchor their growth in humanistic values amid digital transformation.

Stanford alumnus Hu Shaocheng (Class of 2013) shared his decade-long journey, advising peers to “see the world, all beings, and oneself” while riding technological waves. Teacher Zhou Qiaomin encouraged becoming “steadfast life travelers,” while 12th grader Zhu Xiyan rallied classmates to “stride forward without regret.”

The event honored outstanding students and model classes, celebrating Entel’s commitment to nurturing critical thinkers and globally engaged citizens. United in purpose, the school community pledged to embrace challenges and shape a future where education transcends algorithms.
