Lower School (Middle school)

Entel's integrated 6-year education model has its unique advantages.

1. Personalized Small-Class Teaching: With a maximum class size of 36 students (normal size in other schools is 45 or more), math and foreign language sub-jects further split into smaller classes (18-20 pupils), allowing teachers to devote more attention to each child.

2. Experiential Learning for Efficiency: Entel's classroom guides and encourages student interaction through activities such as speeches, sharing, presentations, practical exercises, and research, providing students with opportunities to apply knowledge, fostering subject core competencies related to critical thinking. It also stimulates students' intrinsic motivation and a sense of achievement in learning.

3. Mentor System Tailored to Student's Needs: Students independently choose mentors from their subject teachers. This provides support in academic planning, subject tutoring, psychological counseling, parent-school collaboration, and interpersonal relationships.

4. Enrichment Courses: Beyond national curriculum, students engage in second-language learning, research methods, practical applications, and other enrichment courses, including more than 70 elective courses and over 50 student clubs.

5. Pathways for Further Education: Besides traditional pathways with high school entrance examination, Entel's middle school graduates have early opportunities to enroll in Entel's Upper School, both domestic and overseas tracks. The school offers a 2.5+3.5 Transition Program, preparing middle school students for the challenges of high school and entry into their ideal universities.

Upper School (Gaokao Curriculum)

Upper School (Gaokao Curriculum) students can strategically choose different universities and majors based on their individual characteristics and career plans. They have the flexibility to align with domestic college entrance examinations (Gaokao) and China's top immersion colleges (such as NYU Shanghai, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Duke Kunshan University, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, University of Nottingham Ningbo, and Westlake University), and explore courses in arts and design.

Upper School (Gaokao Curriculum) has been in operation for 14 years since its first enrollment, with 11 graduating classes. The school consistently achieves remarkable results in the annual college entrance examinations (Gaokao), receiving the Yuhang Gaokao Contribution Award each year. Over the past five years, over 60% surpassed the first-tier college and among them, over 60% entered 985 or 211 universities(Top 100 within China).Students have been admitted to prestigious institutions such as Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xiamen University, Nankai University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Hunan University, China Academy of Art, Shanghai Theatre Academy, and more.

The distinctive features of Upper School (Gaokao Curriculum) are evident in the following three aspects:

1. Small-Class Teaching: The average class size is around 35 students. English language classes are further divided into smaller groups, allowing teachers to focus more on each student. This promotes more efficient learning and helps students achieve the goals of excelling in both language and science.

2. Leveraging Opportunities from the "3 out of 7" Gaokao Reform: Entel provides students with the opportunity to personalize their academic plans through free options in any 3 out of 7 Gaokao courses and a specialized "Career Planning" curriculum. This ensures the effective implementation of the "3 out of 7" model within the school.

3. Mentor System Tailored to Student's Needs: Students independently choose mentors from their subject teachers. This provides support in academic planning, subject tutoring, psychological counseling, parent-school collaboration, and interpersonal relationships.

4. Efficient Teaching Model: The school employs a teaching model that emphasizes understanding first, combining learning with application. The goal is to provide students with opportunities to apply knowledge and experience success, fostering intrinsic motivation and promoting cumulative learning achievements, particularly in preparation for the Gaokao.

For the Class of 2023 of Domestic Track students, 77.8% surpassed the first-tier line, and 100% accepted by schools issuing bachelor’s degrees, with the highest score reaching 656marks.
