Entel Students Bridge Cultures in 2024 China-Japan Youth Exchange
From December 8–14, nine Entel high schoolers joined the China-Japan Youth Exchange Program, part of a 200-student delegation organized by China’s Ministry of Education. The group visited Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Musashino Art University, and the Kagawa Chichu Art Museum, exploring design’s societal impact and participating in a tree-planting initiative highlighting environmental stewardship.
Key exchanges included a Hyakunin Isshu poetry performance at the Japan-China Friendship Council and dialogues with Japanese peers at Senri International School, where students shared Mandarin and calligraphy traditions. Delegates also engaged with Parliamentary Vice-Minister Akira Ina and received pre-departure guidance from Consul General Masaru Okada in Shanghai.
Sponsored by AEON MALL Co., Ltd., the program deepened cross-cultural understanding through art, sustainability projects, and collaborative learning. Students documented their journey to enrich future participants’ experiences.
