Marking 10 years of Sino-German collaboration, Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School’s Schumann Environmental Project with Clara-Schumann-Gymnasium garnered global attention through a China Daily feature. Students from both nations co-designed sustainable solutions—from eco-buildings to reusable packaging—during reciprocal visits in April and August 2024.

The exchange highlighted cross-cultural innovation: Entel students explored Germany’s advanced insulation technologies and wood-based architecture at Ludwig Maximilian University, while sharing China’s tea traditions with host families. A joint computer-aided design workshop fused German meticulousness with Chinese adaptability, yielding low-carbon structural models.

“This partnership transcends environmental goals—it’s about global citizenship,” said participant Fu Ziyi. The project, aligning with the China-Germany Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, exemplifies Entel’s commitment to nurturing borderless problem-solvers through hands-on diplomacy and cultural immersion.
