Entel Launches Trilateral Youth Cultural Exchange via Cloud Platform
Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School, its Ningbo Qianwan campus, and Malaysia’s Kota Kinabalu High School co-hosted a pioneering Belt & Road cultural dialogue on October 10, engaging 30+ students in cross-border learning.
Centered on holiday traditions, participants compared China’s Mid-Autumn Festival with Malaysia’s Independence Day observances, while brainstorming proposals for intangible cultural heritage preservation. The Ningbo cohort highlighted coastal city synergies, sparking plans for future maritime education exchanges between the port cities.
This virtual summit strengthened the Sino-Malaysian sister-school partnership established in 2019, with particular focus on revitalizing Chinese language education pathways. Students collaboratively designed proto-frameworks for multicultural festival calendars and digital heritage archives.
The event concluded with commitments to establish annual youth think tanks addressing sustainable tourism and diaspora cultural identity.
