Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School’s junior cohort embarked on an immersive STEM expedition across California, engaging in UCLA battery innovation workshops, Stanford biotech masterclasses, and Caltech aerospace history tours this August.

The program fused academic rigor with cultural immersion, featuring Silicon Valley tech tours at Apple Park and Googleplex, alongside coastal ecology studies at Santa Monica Beach. Participants extracted strawberry DNA at Stanford labs and analyzed next-gen robotics at Figure AI’s R&D hub.

Cultural highlights included Hollywood film industry insights at the Walk of Fame and urban planning debates at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. The journey concluded with student-proposed green energy initiatives inspired by UCLA’s lithium battery breakthroughs.
