Our school cemented its global profile by formalizing a collaborative education framework with Finland's Rusko High School on September 5, 2019, hosted by Principal Ren Jianhua with Oulu Education Director Mika Penttilä and Principal Mika Aalto in attendance. This milestone extends the 2011 Hangzhou-Oulu sister-city agreement and 2017 inter-city education memorandum.

The dialogue spotlighted Rusko High's IB program expertise and Oulu's free lifelong learning initiatives, while our school's "Global Connect" program received strategic endorsement from Finnish delegates. Both parties finalized cross-border virtual exchange protocols to diversify student learning pathways.

The signing ceremony concluded with symbolic cultural gift exchanges, reinforcing commitments to Sino-Finnish pedagogical co-creation. As designated partners under the municipal "Friendship City" program, this partnership directly aligns with our mission to develop multilingual critical thinkers through sustained international engagement.
