On December 10, 2023, German Consul General Pit Heltmann, Austrian cultural attaché Alexandra Wagner, and Goethe-Institut China deputy head Sabine Wilmes joined Hangzhou Entel’s 15th anniversary celebrations. Students from the German Program hosted guests in fluent German, showcasing the school’s growth and artistic achievements.

Heltmann commended Entel’s multilingual ethos, stating: “Languages bridge cultures and self-discovery.” During roundtable talks, students discussed cross-cultural careers and diplomacy, with aspiring diplomats gaining insights from Heltmann and Wagner’s experiences.

Guests received student-painted artworks symbolizing Sino-European ties, now displayed in Heltmann’s office. Wagner pledged to connect Entel with Austrian art schools, citing students’ creative flair. The visit reinforced Entel’s role in nurturing globally competent talent through sustained international partnerships.
