From October 20–25, 2023, Entel welcomed Dr. Jeremy D. Brown, former dean at Yale and Princeton, for a series of workshops demystifying Ivy League admissions and enhancing faculty expertise.

Dr. Brown’s keynote lecture revealed 7-year admissions trends, emphasizing holistic evaluation beyond grades: essays, leadership, and authentic extracurricular profiles. He debunked the “test-score myth,” urging families to prioritize curiosity and innovation over rote learning.

Faculty development sessions with Dr. Brown and Prof. Angel Cardec (ex-VP of Florida Central University) explored Western higher education systems, aligning Entel’s teaching strategies with global standards. College counselors later refined essay-writing coaching techniques through case studies on narrative authenticity.
