Entel’s students dominated the 2022 National Youth German Eloquence Competition themed “50 Years, New Opportunities”, with Lu Siyan winning the national gold medal and four classmates securing silver. The school earned Best Institutional Organizer honors, while German teachers Wu Suowei, Zhao Yefeng, and Jiajun He received Outstanding Mentor Awards.

Facing 430+ competitors from 71 universities and elite high schools, Entel’s teams stood out through innovative sustainability solutions: one group staged an eco-conscious musical drama about marine protection, while Lu delivered a data-rich TED-style talk on social media’s mental health impacts that stunned judges including Prof. Li Yuan (Zhejiang University German Studies Director).

Principal Ren Jianhua highlighted in his keynote how Entel’s cross-cultural curriculum empowers youth to engage with global challenges like climate action and circular economies.
