Zhang Yujian from Entel's German Program triumphed at the 10th National German Olympiad (A2 category) through a show-stopping talk show analyzing sports idols' societal impact, earning China's sole qualification for the International German Olympiad. Partner Xiang Sicheng secured B1 bronze despite technical hurdles.

Hosted virtually by Goethe-Institut China, the competition saw 50+ contestants employ innovative presentation formats - from role-playing tech debates to basketball-themed linguistic games with ALBA BERLIN coaches. Zhang's winning performance blended musical improvisation with cross-examination skills, while Xiang cherished cross-cultural camaraderie developed during preparatory workouts.

"German's structural precision complements English learning," noted Zhang, whose cross-linguistic learning strategies impressed judges. Entel's language coordinator emphasized: "Our curriculum transforms grammatical rigor into creative expression platforms."
