Entel Hosts Online Global Youth Cultural Dialogue
Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School convened 200+ students from 9 countries for a cross-cultural dialogue on April 23, themed "Intangible Heritage Without Borders."
The virtual forum featured Liangzhu Civilization showcases by Entel students and international counterparts presenting UK tea rituals and Polish trade history. Principal Gong Yaodong emphasized "youth's role in civilizational continuity", while U.S. educator Dr. Lathan discussed cultural identity in globalization.
Complementing online exchanges, 14-country cultural booths offered hands-on experiences at school avenue- from Japanese takoyaki cooking to Urdu calligraphy. Education official Zhu Xiao praised participants' "poised multilingual communication skills."
This event marked Entel's latest effort in its Global Understanding curriculum, having established 13 sister-school partnerships to cultivate students as "Z-generation cultural ambassadors."
