Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School's 13 ambassadors, led by teacher Wang Linbin, joined a 500-member Sino-Japanese government youth delegation in December 2016 for a 10-day cultural odyssey. This state-sponsored initiative featured Zen meditation at Eihei-ji Temple, Echizen Washi papermaking workshops, and immersive homestays with Fukui's Maruoka High School students.

Participants highlighted Japan's cultural preservation and eco-consciousness, with Senior Wang noting: “Their meticulous craftmanship mirrors our curriculum's focus on detail-oriented learning.” Entel's delegation later spearheaded campus-wide projects promoting cross-cultural etiquette awareness, recognized by Zhejiang Education Bureau as exemplary global citizenship education.

The program strengthened Entel's partnership with Japanese educational authorities, paving the way for annual East Asian Youth Symposia since 2017.
