On October 16, students from the Grade 9 Innovation Class visited the Future Sci-Tech City Exhibition Hall and AI Town for a hands-on learning trip. At the exhibition hall, they explored assistive technologies for people with disabilities, medical devices, and everyday life innovations. At AI Town, they met familiar names: Rokid’s smart glasses displaying information before the eyes, DeepSeek’s large models assisting learning, and Yun Shen Chu’s robots working across maintenance, healthcare, and construction. But the highlight was the interactive zone — a ping-pong robot that switches seamlessly between forehand and backhand. Sun Puzhi, the grade’s table tennis champion, stepped up and rallied with the machine, drawing cheers louder than a real match. This trip embodied the school’s “Classroom on the Move” educational model, bringing students face-to-face with innovation.
